Ryan Bingham at KEXP

I’m exceptionally lucky to have the opportunity to photograph musicians in the intimate KEXP studio from time to time. I recently photographed Ryan Bingham, who won an Oscar and Golden Globe for music he wrote for the film Crazy Heart. His voice comes from a deep, beautiful place, and somehow fits-but-doesn’t-fit his boyish good looks. His lyrics are haunting and tune right into your soul. Catch the interview on Greg Vandy’s “The Roadhouse” this Wednesday from 6-9 on KEXP ~

Maureen - RB is a beautiful subject, Meow! did you go to any of the NW shows? I have been a fan of his for many years and it’s so great to see how far he’s come, don’t forget he just won a GRAMMY last week! :)
