Adana & Orion 5/11/08

For some people, the world is their oyster. For others, the entire Universe is at their whim. Such is the case for Adana and Orion, who married May 11th. They are both performers, and Adana made her symphonic debut Saturday night with the Puget Sound Symphony Orchestra. This girl can sing! Sunday morning, it was raining as I drove to meet Adana where she was getting ready, but the sun came out just as we were leaving to Golden Gardens to see her groom for the first time. Right on cue, Israel Kamakawiwo’ole’s version of “Over the Rainbow” came on the radio for the short drive there, and Adana and Orion’s colorful wedding unfolded. It rained on and off all day, but only while we were driving from one destination to the next. The sun warmed us up during their intimate ceremony at Parson’s Gardens, and this couple couldn’t help but shine like the stars they are. The two of you are the definition of “wow!”
